Eye Health

The IUIH Network of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Community Controlled Health Services provides optometry services to adults and children from 16 clinics across South East Queensland.

Eligibility
You are welcome to access our optometry services if you are a regular client at one of our primary health care clinics.   

• Eye Health Services
• Eye health screening and assessment for all ages
• Eye health testing, including diabetic checks
• Access to glasses
• Access to information about maintaining good eye health
• Referral to specialists and surgical pathways

Regular eye exams are important to maintain good vision, prevent eye disease and treat eye conditions. Good eye health is an essential part of health care for the whole family. We recommend everyone has an optometry check every 2 – 3 years from the age of 5 years old, or every year if you have diabetes.
