HomeStay

Our HomeStay Program is a FREE program that assists people at risk of becoming homeless to maintain their independence and remain housed through the support of case management.

Families, individuals and young people living in the Mackay Regional Council area are eligible if they are experiencing personal, social, financial or emotional difficulties which are impacting on them and placing them at risk of becoming homeless.  If this is you - you can refer yourself to be part of our HomeStay Program.  

You are eligible for support if you are renting through real estates, social housing, boarding houses, in caravan parks or in a home ownership.  

CASA's Case Managers will work with you to identify and address any issues which have caused you to be at risk of homelessness.
