The Nurture Festival

The Festival idea was the creation of two Sunshine Coast mental health organisation leaders, Mark Forbes of endED and Nathan Taylor of Comunite’z. Through their experience of working with young people and their families on the Sunshine Coast, Mark and Nathan recognised a growth in demand for youth mental health support services that is often not being met purely through the mainstream health system.

The idea of the Nurture Festival is to provide an interactive, safe space for young people and their families to have important conversations about mental health and wellbeing, and to connect with the support community in a way that is fun, safe, interactive and inclusive for all.

The Nurture Festival line-up is packed with live music featuring new and upcoming musicians; hands-on activities and inspirational speakers. 

We’re a festival built by the community, for the community.
