We deliver our services to young people impacted by family mental illness with the aim of empowering them to build resilience, lifelong knowledge and abilities so they can reach their potential.

WHAT DOES VOLUNTEERING LOOK LIKE?
• Welcoming young people and helping them settle in.
• Assisting with meal times.
• Having fun alongside young people with outdoor and indoor
activities (eg. kayaking, rope climbing, arts and craft).
• Assisting Mental Health Chat Groups (we provide training on this).
• Letting Kookaburra Kids team members know if they are worried or concerned about any young people.
• Sharing meals and having chats with young people.
