Leadership Programs

This program discusses family leadership, how to be a leader, the types of leaders and self empowerment.

The purpose of the leadership program is to make out clients aware that they are leaders in some area of their life and to assist them to become strong leaders in the family environment by:

• Encouraging them to share a positive vision for Indigenous Australians
• Supporting them to gain knowledge and skills around leadership
• Empowering their personal leadership journey
• Providing them with skills to help them reach their goals and aspirations and to inspire and help those around them

Leadership programs are challenging and at times can be confronting. Clients receive assistance from committed staff and support officers who will help them to meet their challenges.

The program will support our clients in developing skills in the following areas:

• Understanding themselves as a leader
• Vision and goal setting
• Confidence building
• Wellbeing
• Conflict management
• Negotiation skills
