Crisis & Emergency Accommodation
About Us
55 Central’s Crisis Accommodation Service provides crisis accommodation for single adult males. On entry to the service, each person is assigned a dedicated case worker and receives weekly, flexible tailored support across a range of areas that may include supported referral to specialist health, mental health and alcohol or other drug services, financial and budgeting support, family relationship assistance, assistance with challenging social/behavioural problems, legal information, transport, informal counselling, coaching and safety planning.
A person centred ethos is the cornerstone of all our work. Through this we seek to promote resilience, empowerment, self-reliance and choice.
One of the central policy aims of this program is to break the cycle of homelessness. We do this by helping clients move quickly through the crisis service, into more stable accommodation with the support they need, to prevent further homelessness. hs.
Referral enquiries can be made via telephone on (08) 9272 1333 (select option 1). To access our most up to date referral form please call us or email the team at cas@55central.asn.au.
