About Us

Spearwood Library offers several regular adult events that promote lifelong learning and social interaction, including:

  • Tech help - one-on-one tech training to help you get online, start using emails, smartphones, and other basics of modern technology. Sessions last 30 minutes, are available Mon-Thurs between 10 and 11, and must be booked on the library's events calendar.
  • Knitting group - a group of knitters who meet every Wednesday at 9:30am to help each other out, learn new techniques, and have a cuppa and a chat.
  • Spearwood Library – Morning Book Club meet on the third Monday of the month at 10.00am and the cost is $5.00 per session, which includes book hire.
  • Spearwood Library – Evening Book Club meet on the third Thursday of the month at 6.30pm and the cost is $5.00 per session, which includes book hire.
