About Us
Better Access - The purpose of this initiative is to improve access to treatment and management of mental illness within the community. Under this initiative, Medicare benefits are available to eligible patients for selected mental health services. A small gap payment may be applicable and Medicare rebates are limited to 10 sessions per calendar year. Our clinicians can assist adults and children presenting with a Mental Health Treatment Plan from their GP.
Emotional Health and Well-being (EHW) - This program is a general counselling service for women from 12 years of age. The EHW program can help women who are experiencing mild to moderate mental health concerns that may be impacting on their daily life.
Family Abuse Advocacy Support Team (FAAST) - Our team provide counselling for women and children (from age 6 upwards) experiencing or at risk of experiencing family and domestic violence. These situations can be very distressing and result in trauma – this is where we can support you on your journey to recovery. Clients can self-refer to this program.
Perinatal Mental Health (PMH) - A counselling service for expectant or new mothers (0 – 3 years of age). The perinatal period (from conception through the early years of life) is one of the most significant and exciting times of a woman’s life. It is also very common to experience high anxiety, depression and other mental health concerns, which is why it is important to seek support early.
