Uralla Community

Uralla Council has an approximate area of 3,200 km².

It is comprised of the suburbs of Arding, Gostwyck, Invergowrie, Kentucky South, Mihi, Rocky River, Saumarez, Saumarez Ponds and Wollun plus parts of Briarbrook, Dangarsleigh and Kellys Plains.

It is comprised of the localities of Abington, Bakers Creek, Balala, Camerons Creek, Kingstown, Salisbury Plains, Torryburn, Uralla and Yarrowyck plus parts of Boorolong, Bundarra, Dumaresq and Kentucky.

It is surrounded by the councils of Armidale Regional, Gwydir, Tamworth Regional and Walcha.

It is within the state electorate of Northern Tablelands.

It is within the federal electorate of New England.
