Benalla Rural City Community

Benalla Council has an approximate area of 2,400 km².

It is comprised of the suburbs of Archerton, Broken Creek, Bungeet, Bungeet West, Chesney Vale, Devenish, Glenrowan West, Goomalibee, Goorambat, Lima, Lima East, Lurg, Molyullah, Moorngag, Mount Bruno, Samaria, Swanpool, Taminick, Tarnook, Thoona, Upper Ryans Creek, Winton and Winton North plus parts of 10 suburbs including Baddaginnie, Barjarg, Boho South, Boweya and Boxwood.

It is comprised of the localities of Benalla, Tatong and Warrenbayne plus parts of Bridge Creek and Creek Junction.

It is surrounded by the councils of Greater Shepparton City, Mansfield Shire, Moira Shire, Strathbogie Shire and Wangaratta Rural City.

It is within the state electorate of Euroa.

It is within the federal electorate of Indi.
