The Western Australia Health District region of Central has an approximate area of 89 km².
It is comprised of the suburbs of Balcatta, Balga, Churchlands, Dianella, Doubleview, Gwelup, Hamersley, Herdsman, Innaloo, Joondanna, Karrinyup, Mirrabooka, Nollamara, Osborne Park, Scarborough, Stirling, Trigg, Tuart Hill, Wembley Downs, Westminster, Woodlands and Yokine.
It is comprised of parts of the councils of Cambridge and Stirling.
It is surrounded by the health districts of City, Joondalup-wanneroo, Lower West and Swan & Hills.
It is comprised of the state electorates of Balcatta and Scarborough plus parts of Carine, Churchlands, Mirrabooka, Morley and Mount Lawley.
It is comprised of parts of the federal electorates of Curtin and Stirling.
