About Us

The out and back course is 5000m (5K) long. This has been measured with a measuring wheel. Starting and finishing on the grassed area near Merimbula Boat Ramp on Arthur Kaine Drive, parkrunners cross the Merimbula Bridge using the footpath, then track along the Merimbula Lake Boardwalk enjoying stunning views over the lake and surrounds. At the flagged halfway marker located before gate at end of path, return along same track. The course is run on varied surfaces including sections of concrete path, asphalt, unsealed track and boardwalk. Some sections of the course may be subject to unevenness, cracking, potholes, accumulation of debris including branches, leaves, mud and puddles. The boardwalk sections of the course are narrow and runners should travel in single file on these sections unless overtaking. Extra caution should be taken when overtaking or passing others coming in opposite direction. Extra-wide or double prams may not be suitable for running narrow sections of this course.
