parkrun - Yamba

The course starts adjacent to the Iluka Ferry terminal at the Eastern end of Ford Park next to the River Street carpark. The course is 2 x laps run in a clockwise direction. Runners will start on the grassed area next to the ferry terminal and head West for several hundred metres before joining the Ford Park pavement at the very Western end of the park. Runners will then continue to head West for 100m before turning around at the start of the Gantry wall. Runners will keep the river to their left and enjoy fantastic scenery as they head East alongside the Clarence River past the Caravan Park before turning around when the pavement ends opposite Whiting Beach. Once back at the Ferry terminal runners will complete the second and final lap. Facilities Toilets available adjacent to course on eastern side of carpark, water bubbler / tap available, parking available (plenty, free), short walk to shops and Main Street (150m). Getting there on footFrom carpark: directly adjacent From bus stop: The closest bus stop is in Coldstream Street, just outside the YHA. Cross the road and head West along Coldstream Street. Turn right into River street. The destination is at the end of River Street. It is an approximately 3 minute walk. From Ferry Terminal: directly adjacent Getting there by roadFrom Highway: Take the Yamba Exit Turn Right onto Yamba Road Continue on Yamba Road through the Angourie Roundabout where Yamba Road turns into Wolli Street At the next roundabout turn left into River Street The destination will be 100m ahead From Town Centre: Head North on Yamba Street Turn Left at roundabout into Wooli Street Turn right at roundabout into River street Parking available directly adjacent to start and finish line.
