About Us

Information and referrals, support for people with mental health issues and victims of domestic violence Advance Diversity Services (ADS) has been continued to develop and deliver services for migrants, refugees and people in Culturally and Linguistically Diverse communities in accordance with their particular needs and to ensure the relief from suffering, poverty, distress, misfortune and disability of those settling into and living in South Eastern Sydney. During the period of 2014-2015 financial year, ADS offered over 450 individual case works and over 70 sessions to newly arrived migrants, refugees, and humanitarian entrants, so they are more independent and participate equitably in Australian society. More than 100,000 hours of support services provided to frail aged, people with disabilities and their carers through individual case work, home support services, centre based day care as well as carer support services. ADS's support services to parent/ carers of children with disabilities included Family Fun Days where families, including children with disabilities and their siblings, are enabled to participate in the community and enjoy quality time together as a family unit. A series of workshop designed to provide the skills and knowledge to support people with a disability and their carers to self-advocate and self-management/ healthy well-being. ADS has supported 1700 domestic violence victims with provision of information and referrals. Main activities relate to Aged Care Activities.
