About Us

Support When You Need It Most

At Phoenix House, we offer free sexual assault and abuse counselling for people of all ages and genders in the Bundaberg region. Whether this has been recent or occurred in the past, we’re here to help.

We welcome LGBTQIA+ community members and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. Cultural liaison support is also available.

Service centres are located in Bundaberg, Childers and Gin Gin.

Prevention & Education
Phoenix House deliver programs in schools and community that build awareness and confidence, teach protective behaviours, and help prevent trauma and sexual assault.

Our Bumblebees Program educates on protective behaviours to caregivers and children through group or one-on-one sessions. Childcare centres are encouraged to contact us to book a six-week session delivery. TIDDAS is an indigenous wellbeing program for teen girls that is run through the high schools.

Mental Health Services
We also provide mental health support through:

  • Mental Health Care Plans
  • Employee Assistance Programs (EAP)
  • WorkCover
  • NDIS therapeutic supports (for self-managed and plan-managed participants)
