Hilltop Quilters Nerang

The Hilltop Quilters meet Thursday morning in the senior citizens hall at Nerang. Our group numbers about 40, and we are interested in providing comfort quilts to those in need, ill health and underging dialysis/cancer treatments.

We recently provided quilts to the Gold Coast Legacy Branch for 23 wards. We were provided with a list of Boy 8, Girl 6 etc and colour preferences where known. These quilts were presented to Mr Peter Franklin, president of Gold Coast Legacy for gifting to the children of deceased defence personnel.

This September 8th and 9th we are staging a quilt show at the Seniors Hall with displays and sales by many of the groups which use the halls on a regular basis.
