River Sessions

River Sessions is QLD's largest none-touring single day Music, Food and Arts Festival showcasing a multitude of Australia's leading live dance, hip hop and rock/indie acts taking the stage in a boutique setting at one of Mackay’s most beautiful venues. River Sessions will again bring a culinary smorgasbord in the form of 20 hand-picked food and Arts vendors from Mackay and the surrounding regions.

River Sessions has been running for 7 years and has drawn thousands (8500 in 2012) to the Mackay Region each year with local, intrastate and interstate music lovers. River Sessions works closely with Mackay Regional council, Mackay Tourism and QLD Tourism in enhance the economy not only through the the festival event date but through the extensive marketing and communications stratagy developed that runs over a 4 month period showcasing River Sessions and Mackay Region. 

River Sessions has and will always actively seek out local contractors and communities to partner with to inhance local business's and brands.

River Sessions always incorporates local charities such as Red Frogs to enhance community awareness
