About Us
BreastScreen Queensland Sunshine Coast provides free breast cancer screening. Breast screening is recommended every two years and is most effective for women aged 50 to 74. Women age 40 to 49 and over 75 can also have a free breast screen with a BreastScreen Queensland Service.
BreastScreen Queensland Sunshine Coast has permanent screening sites at Caboolture, Caloundra, Gympie, Maroochydore, Nambour and Noosaville. To make an appointment call 13 20 50 or visit Make an appointment | BreastScreen Queensland Early, late and Saturday appointments are available. Doctor's referrals are not required.
Appointments at BreastScreen Queensland take approximately thirty minutes and are performed by a female radiographer. All screening appointments and follow up tests, if required, are free.

Facility Notes
Paid parking is available on the Hospital Campus. Free parking is available in the surrounding streets.
Eligibility Notes
Women aged 40 years and over. The BreastScreen Queensland Program is not suitable for women who have signs or symptoms of breast cancer. If you have any breast concerns or symptoms you should contact your doctor without delay.

Queensland Health Victim Support Service (QHVSS) is a free, state-wide service for you and your family if you, or a member of your family, have been a victim of crime by a person with a mental illness or intellectual disability. QHVSS provides free counselling, support and information before, during and after Mental Health Court. QHVSS has offices in Brisbane, Townsville and Cairns.
