About Us

BreastScreen Queensland Sunshine Coast provides free breast cancer screening. Breast screening is recommended every two years and is most effective for women aged 50 to 74.  Women age 40 to 49 and over 75 can also have a free breast screen with a BreastScreen Queensland Service.

BreastScreen Queensland Sunshine Coast has permanent screening sites at Caboolture, Caloundra, Gympie, Maroochydore, Nambour and Noosaville.  Our mobile screening service visits 16 other sites around the Sunshine Coast throughout the year. To make an appointment call 13 20 50 or visit  Make an appointment | BreastScreen Queensland   Early, late and Saturday appointments are available. Doctor's referrals are not required.

Appointments at BreastScreen Queensland take approximately thirty minutes and are performed by a female radiographer. All screening appointments and follow up tests, if required, are free.
