Hampton Festival

The Hampton Festival is the premier food and arts event in the region, held on the third Sunday in May annually. It is a catalyst to inspire new creative experiences by showcasing local product (fresh produce, arts & music), local lifestyle and community.

The weekend begins with Friday evening events showcasing local produce, followed by hands-on food and art workshops on Saturday giving you a great experience. Be the first to view the talented artists at the Hampton Art Exhibition opening on Saturday afternoon before venturing to a local venue for some tastes of the region! Sunday is a an enjoyable full day Food & Art Festival held in Chapman Park, Hampton. The country hamlet comes alive at festival time with restaurants, market stalls and wineries offering a sensational range of regional produce and delicious food while talented local artists exhibit in the art exhibition and demonstrate their skills. Live musical and performance entertainment, interesting farmer talks, demonstrations and the popular children’s area make for a great day out for the entire family.

The idyllic setting under the majestic blue gums creates a relaxing atmosphere where you can sit back and enjoy the Festival’s live music and taste superb, locally made food and wine from one of the many featured regional restaurants and wineries. You can then purchase gourmet ingredients and local produce from the marketplace to take with you and enjoy at home.
