About Us
This is a circuit with a 2 lap section. Starting at the SE corner of the park near the BBQ area, head in a clockwise direction towards the SW corner and continue north towards the car park. Head over the bridge to the right of the car park and follow the track in a SE direction through the scenic wetlands. At the T-junction Turnaround, make a left hand turn and head north to the very top of the park (Northerly Turnaround) before turning around and coming back to the same T-junction. From the turnaround point at the T-junction, return to the Northerly Turnaround. Turn around and return straight past the T-junction Turnaround to the start/finish line. The majority of the course is flat but heading up to the most northerly point of the track there is an uphill rise. Please note that this park does have dogs running around off-leash. Facilities Children’s playground, a water fountain, BBQ shelter, doggy bags, dog water bowl. Note: There are no toilets located at Brooker Park. Nearest toilets are located at Civic Park in Warragul or at the McDonalds in Warragul. Getting There Location of startThe run starts at the SE corner of the park near the BBQ area. Getting there by public transportThere are no local buses to and from Brooker Park on Saturdays. The nearest train station is Warragul Station which is on the Traralgon V-Line, and is approximately 2km from Brooker Park. Please visit the V/Line website for the train timetable. Getting there on footThere are multiple pedestrian entry points into Brooker Park. The directions below direct you to the entry point between 93 & 95 Sutton Street. There are also pedestrian access points between 25 & 29 Charles Street, 67 & 69 Charles Street and at the end of Windhaven Court. From the town centre: Follow Victoria Street northwards, turning left on to Sutton Street. From Warragul Station: Follow signs to the town centre. Follow Victoria Street northwards, turning left on to Sutton Street. Getting there by roadIf using GPS, the postcode is 3820. If using the Princes Highway, use exit C425 (following signs to town centre), continuing on to Victoria Street. Turn left at the roundabout on to Sutton Street, then right at the roundabout on to Bowen Street. Limited car parking is available next to St Paul’s Anglican Grammar School on Bowen Street, but there is ample street parking on both Bowen & Sutton Streets. All car parking is free, but please allow ample room for residents to access their driveways
