Monkami Centre Inc. is established to be a charity with the purpose of promoting and protecting human rights by acting as an advocate and a defender of such for people with a disability in relation to their rights under the Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities.

Monkami helps to support approximately 130 people with disability to succeed in reaching their potential and to reach their individual goals within their personal lives as well as engaging in their broader community to develop valued relationships.

Monkami thrives on the ability to work alongside other community organisations, to ensure our people can access unique and valued opportunities, tools and activities, to aid in the development and use of their skills.

Within these programs, people are provided with opportunities to create meaningful connections to the wider community, gain employment and build friendships to last a life time.
