parkrun - Toolern Creek

This is an out and back course starting and finishing at the Toolern Creek Park. The course heads south along a concrete footpath to the turnaround point. Although the course has undulations along the full length there is only a 10m rise over 5km. Facilities The meeting point is at the entrance to Toolern Creek Park on Bridge Road. The nearest toilet facilities are located at the Bridge Road Community Centre approximately 200 metres away. Getting There Location of startThe meeting / starting location is at Toolern Creek Park located behind the athletics facility. Getting there by public transportThe closest train station to the Toolern Creek parkrun is Melton, which is on the Ballarat Line. From the Melton train station you would need to walk South down Exford Road before turning left into Bridge Road. This would take approximately 15 minutes from the Melton train station. This would take approximately 15 minutes from the Melton train station. Getting there by roadIf travelling by car from either Melbourne or Ballarat take the Ferris Road exit from the Western Freeway. After exiting from the freeway head south on Ferris Road past Tabcorp Park. After crossing the train lines take the first right into Bridge Road. Proceed through two roundabouts on Bridge Road and you will see the Bridge Road athletics facility on your left hand side. The meeting / starting location is at Toolern Creek Park located behind the athletics facility. There is parking for approximately 100 cars at the athletics facility with a short walk to the start line. There are also no parking restrictions in any of the surrounding residential streets.
