parkrun - Mullum Mullum

Starting & Finishing at Schwerkolt Cottage we follow the Eastlink Trail toward the city. At the second bridge we veer left to climb the compacted gravel track. Turning right at the top of the hill we head back down toward the creek (prams use caution) and rejoin the Eastlink Trail through the start/finish following the linear park until the playground where we turn right towards Maroondah Hwy. We have a turnaround point at the bridge and retrace our steps back down the hill and across the finish line to the cheers and adulation of friends and strangers. Facilities Toilets, drinking fountains (parkrunners and parkdogs), and kids playground are all located at the bbq meeting point adjacent to the free carpark. Getting there by public transportMelway ref: 49 D7?Bike lane along Deep Creek Road runs parallel to Schwerkolt Cottage access point to the Eastlink Trail.?Bus 270 travels along Wattle Valley Road and Deep Creek Road past Schwerkolt Cottage from Ringwood Station en route to Box Hill Station.?Heatherdale Station located approximately 1.2km south of trail. In 500 metres Schwerkolt Cottage is signposted on the left.
