About Us
TS Albury Navy Cadets is supported by the Royal Australian Navy, the Australian Navy Cadets is a leading provider of youth development with approximately 2350 cadets and 81 Training Ships across Australia and open to young Australians between the ages of 13-18 of all gender and ability. With a focus on the maritime domain, cadets participate in numerous exciting and rewarding activities, both on land and the water, with the key objectives of building self-confidence and developing teamwork and leadership skills.
This initiative is designed to ignite a passion for the maritime realm among young individuals, fostering invaluable skills such as effective communication and strong leadership through a diverse array of nautical-themed activities.
Embarking on this journey with the Navy Cadets offers youth a unique opportunity to explore and engage with various facets of the maritime environment. From mastering the art of drone flying and robotics to acquiring essential first aid techniques and honing culinary skills, participants will embark on a transformative voyage of learning and discovery.
Moreover, the program extends beyond the confines of land, offering exhilarating on-water experiences such as sailing and power boating, providing an immersive understanding of seamanship and navigation. Additionally, the rhythmic beats of drumming sessions add a dynamic element to the cadet experience, fostering teamwork and coordination.
If you are eager to join this exciting endeavor, eligibility is straightforward. Applicants should have turned 13 years old within the current calendar year or be already 13 years or older, yet not have surpassed their 17th birthday. This ensures a cohesive and engaging environment tailored to the needs and capabilities of young participants, fostering growth and development in a supportive community setting.
